"Toxic Stress and Brain Development in Young Homeless Children"

This book explains the problems that homeless people face, specially kids. Hutto and Viola (2014) mentioned “ Homeless  children and their families experience significant stress because of their housing status, often compounded by past traumatic experiences such as illness, violence, or separation.” It’s important for the research to analyze the different situations that homelessness faces. Problems homeless people face

As Wolley (2015) explains in her article, living in the streets is not justa  social problem, it brings with it, those are the top 10 problems she found important: 1. Mortality and unintentional injuries (bruises, cuts, burns, etc.) 2. Musculoskeletal disorders and chronic pain 3. Hunger and nutrition 4. Skin & foot problems 5. Infectious diseases 6. Dental problems 7. Respiratory illness 8. Chronic diseases and disorders 9. Sexual & reproductive care 10. Mental health issues Wolley, E.
